Cetrus History
Cetrus was developed by engineers in 1999 who were convinced that there was a better way to license analytical and design applications for the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) business. They realized that it is far more effective for a company to conserve capital by renting equipment, hiring subcontractors and generally running the business on a cost plus markup basis. The internet was the first tool that allowed them to run their analytical applications, licensed via a browser, hence providing them with the flexibility and mobility that has now become essential in this competitive field. Cetrus soon grew beyond the AEC industry when software publishers and users realized the technology was a great solution for all markets.
