EnviroInsite is a groundwater data visualization application developed by Bruce L. Jacobs at Hydroanalysis. It is a workspace for understanding and communicating complex, spatial, and temporal patterns in environmental data and geologic conditions. EnviroInsite’s ease of use and low cost make it the only choice for groundwater visualization on every desktop.

Site stratigraphy can be viewed as 3d fence diagrams, as 3d solid models, or as fence diagrams projected on profiles. The great advantage of EnviroInsite over other similar programs is the ability to combine displays of site stratigraphy with the advanced analyte display capabilities of EnviroInsite.

The soon to be released Version 3 will greatly improve the geologic modeling capabilities over prior versions. The following images highlight the ability to:

add translucence to a fence diagram
define the bounds of a geologic model
use kriging to generate a fence diagram on a profile view
